The Data Storage System (SDS) is a set of software and hardware designed to manage and store large amounts of information. The main sources of information at this time are hard drives, which have recently reached 1 terabite. - Information hosts. As mentioned above, hard drives are now the main source of information (possibly replaced by hard electronic SSD reservoirs in the near future). - Data management systems. CCB provides powerful data management functions. The CCB provides mirroring and replication functions between systems, supports non-sustainable, self-restoring areas, provides monitoring functions and backup functions at the hardware level.
- Data transmission networks. Data transmission networks provide an environment where the links between servers and CCBs or the link between one CCM and another. DAS (Direct Attached Storage) - directly connected to the disk server, NAS (Network Attached Storage) - disks connected online (data access is at the FTP, NFS or SMB level) and SAN (Storage Area Network) - data storage network (provisional access).
